Case Study
My name is Mr. Mathai and I’m a teacher at Northview Heights Secondary School. Hall Pass is fantastic because it forces students to be more responsible when they leave class. I’ve been teaching for 27 years, and this is by far the best tool I’ve seen to improve my experience in the classroom. Wondering whether a given student is safe and/or is wasting time when they step out of class has always been a distraction for any teacher, and Hall Pass absolutely takes care of this problem, making students more accountable and leaving me free to dedicate my entire focus to the day’s lessons. Out of all the tools that have been offered over the years, this application is by far the most useful.

Testimonials
Being a hall monitor means being the eyes and ears between classrooms, stairwells, and common areas. Right now, when something happens, we have to radio it in or physically run to find help, which wastes precious time. A Safe School Application would let me report issues instantly, call for backup, or even alert authorities with just a few taps on a phone or tablet.

Hall MonitorAs someone who works daily as a Hall Monitor at a school, I see firsthand the critical need for tools that support student safety and streamline school operations. One of the biggest issues is remembering every student's face, especially in a school with a large and constantly changing student body. it's impossible to remember every student, which can create security vulnerabilities.

Hall MonitorUsing a web app to sign out of class would make everything quicker and easier. I wouldn’t have to wait for the teacher to stop the lesson just so I could sign a clipboard or fill out a paper form. Now, I will just sign out quietly on a computer or laptop, and it takes less than a minute. It saves time for me and the teacher, and it makes the whole process way less distracting for everyone.

Having a sign-out app in class is a great idea. This would mean signing out and signing back in so fast and easy. If there’s ever a drill or real emergency, teachers can quickly check the app to see who’s missing and where they might be. It’s a lot better than trying to guess based on memory or a messy paper sheet. In a real situation, that kind of information could make a big difference in getting help to someone faster.

Sometimes students would just leave the room without really signing out properly, or they’d forget to sign back in. It could get confusing. With this app, sign out, everything’s logged automatically with time stamps. It would always tell the staff who’s where, and who’s cutting class. Plus, it cuts down on students just wandering the halls without permission.

Knowing that teachers can instantly see who’s out in the halls makes me feel safer, especially during emergencies. If there were ever a lockdown or a fire drill, teachers and administrators would know where I last checked in. They wouldn't have to waste time trying to find me or worry about who’s missing. It's reassuring to know there’s a system in place that keeps track of all of us, especially when minutes matter.

I think it’s a cool idea to have a web sign-out app. Sometimes you feel like you’re interrupting everyone just to ask to use the bathroom or go to guidance. Being able to quickly and quietly sign out through the app makes it more private and respectful. I don't feel like I’m being put on display, and it keeps the flow of the class going without any unnecessary breaks.

I like that the app can keep a clear record of when I leave and where I’m going. Sometimes when you're signing out on paper, things can get lost or messy, and if anything happens, no one’s really sure where you are. With the app, it’s all tracked in real time. If I’m going to the nurse or to the office, the staff knows exactly where I am without having to search all over the building. It feels way more organized and safe.
